I loved trick-or-treating when I was little.  My brother and I would go around to as many houses as possible. Then we would come home and sort through our candy, trading each other for the pieces we didn’t like.  This year, despite being freezing cold AND pouring rain, we still managed to have fun watching the sweetest kiddies getting their sweet treats.

OH MY GOSH.  These might be the cutest things I’ve ever seen!!  I have to make them!!  It looks simple enough, though it will be hard to get the Oreos apart so all the cream is on one side.  Any volunteers??  Thanks Melissa! 🙂

I love all of these ideas.  Wish I was creative enough to think of them on my own, but at least I’m creative enough to try and copy them!!!  Check out Martha’s website for tons of other ideas.

I happen to love Halloween.  I love seeing all the kiddies dressed up and getting so excited for all the sugary treats they are going to eat.  I also love dressing up as an adult and I never understand why people don’t feel the same way!  I went back and forth this year on what I wanted to be, but finally decided and just about have all the pieces of my costume.  I used this little cartoon as my inspiration.  How adorable is she??  I love her little booties and gloves with nails!!!

I just got this sweater from Target in grey (for some reason the grey color isn’t online yet) and I love it so much!  I threw mine on with my skinny jeans and funky heels yesterday.  But, I’m also loving this tan color with leopard print heels and black pants as a dressier look.  I might need to go back for a second color!!

I am reading a wonderful book right now called The Happiness Project which I would highly recommend!  It is a great (and funny) story about one woman’s quest to take a year of her life to simply ‘get happier’, though she wasn’t actually unhappy to begin with.  I love her honesty and many other things about the book including this realization she had about half-way through:

One of the best ways to make yourself happy is to make other people happy.

One of the best ways to make other people happy is to be happy yourself.

Just a little food for thought.  Happy Thursday!

Where Am I?
